The Art of Self Distraction

I’ve had a lot on my mind lately. I could be succumbing to meltdown mode right now but I’m not going to let it bother me. Somewhere along the way I dropped my meditation practice and sometime soon I plan on getting back into it. Right now I have other things to keep my zen. My to do list that I finally have time to check off, for instance.

Homemade pancakes to eat (with homemade blueberry syrup to boot). Coffee to drink. Beds to be made. Homework to do. A house to clean. A puppy to train. A fast approaching Miami trip to pack for. The last-minute shop. I’ve got this.
